Barry Bonds: All-Star?

Today it was announced that Barry Bonds, or Barroid Bonds if you will, was voted in by the fans to represent the NL in the All-Star game in his home town of Frisco. While many may argue against Barry's inclusion/worthiness to be in the game, I for one support it. He's got the highest OPS in the NL, and is still the most feared batter in the NL, if not in the AL (maybe ARod or Papi in the 9th inning.) Bonds deserves to be one of a ridiculous number of All-Stars...aren't there 32 for each team? He should be there to represent the Giants, since Barry is the San Fran Giants. Best of luck Barry and I can't wait to see the boo's rain down on you when you break Hank's record. It's a shame because you weren't the only one using 'roids and HGH during the 'roid era-----allegedly!

Why I Blog

I wanted to start this blog for a variety of reasons. One being, it is a good forum for me to update new happenings in my life so friends can stay in touch and apprised of things. Also, it's an easy way to keep a journal as I am more inclined to update a blog than to write in a journal. In addition, I hope to be able to use this as a forum to describe what it's like to work as a consultant for Bain. Lastly, I hope to be able to opine on various things related to sports, the GMAT, economics, business, and religion.
